Many clients find it helpful to take some time before the session to reflect on any areas of concern or goals they’d like to address. Others approach the session with a desire to try something new or simply to rebalance their energy without focusing on a specific issue.


Here are some tips to help you prepare for your session:


  • Eat and Hydrate: Have a light snack and drink water before the session to feel nourished and balanced.
     
  • Dress Comfortably: Wear comfortable clothing, and consider having a blanket nearby, as releasing energy can sometimes cause the body to feel chilled.
     
  • Create a Quiet Space: Find a peaceful spot where you won’t be disturbed. Choose a setting that allows you to be fully present and uninterrupted.
     
  • Ensure Safety: If virtual, make sure you’re in a secure location—avoid driving or being in a setting where you can’t fully relax.
     
  • Use the Restroom: Take care of this beforehand so you can remain completely relaxed during the session.
     
  • Set the Atmosphere: Prepare your space with items that enhance your comfort and focus, such as incense, candles, or crystals.
     
  • Consider Your Intention: Think about what you’d like to work on, whether it’s anxiety, grief, clarity, or something else.

  1. Do I need to fully believe in Reiki or energy work to benefit?
    Not at all! It’s okay to feel a little skeptical. Simply bring an open mind and a willingness to explore a new experience.
     
  2. Do I need to share personal details during the session?
    No, you’re welcome to share as much or as little as feels right for you. Some clients enjoy being more open, while others prefer to remain private. This won’t affect the effectiveness of the work, so trust what feels best for you.

Most clients report feeling relaxed and centered after a Trimatri™ Reiki or energy session, but every experience is unique. It’s important to remember that significant energy work was completed, and your body and mind may need time to integrate these shifts.


Here are some suggestions for self-care following your session:


  1. Stay Hydrated: Drink plenty of water and consider adding electrolytes. Staying hydrated aids the cleansing process and keeps your energy flowing smoothly. It can also help alleviate any detox symptoms that may arise.
     
  2. Eat to Ground Yourself: Having a meal after your session helps ground your energy. While fresh, whole foods are ideal, it’s also important to listen to your intuition. If your body craves something more grounding—like a really good cheeseburger—honor that need.
     
  3. Take a Salt Bath: An Epsom or Himalayan salt bath (or a baking soda bath) is an essential step for many. It integrates the energy work and helps prevent detox symptoms. If baths aren’t your thing, soak your feet in warm water with Epsom salts for 10–15 minutes or use the salts as a body scrub in the shower.
     
  4. Spend Time in Nature: Reconnect with the Earth by sitting in a park, walking in the woods, or simply enjoying your backyard. Nature provides grounding and a calming space to reflect and integrate.
     
  5. Listen to Your Body: You may feel a range of responses after your session, from heightened emotions to mild fatigue. This is a normal part of the detox process. Rest when needed, and continue hydrating and soaking in salt baths as helpful.
     

Some clients notice vivid dreams, resurfacing memories, or new insights in the days following their session. Others may feel more sensitive or emotional for a short time. Consider keeping a journal to capture your impressions, feelings, and thoughts—or channel your energy creatively through painting, writing, or drawing.


How Often Should I Schedule a Reiki Session?

There’s no set formula or prescription for how often you should return for Reiki or energy work. Each person’s energy field and needs are unique. Trust your intuition and schedule sessions when you feel the time is right.

Before Your Session
Once your Akashic Records Journey is booked, you’ll receive an email with detailed information on how to prepare. For additional tips, check the FAQs section on the website.


After Your Session
Akashic Records sessions, like energy work, involve profound energetic shifts. During the session, much can be released, transmuted, or activated. To support your integration, I recommend following the same aftercare guidelines as for energy sessions:


  • Stay Hydrated: Drinking plenty of water helps cleanse and support your energy field.
     
  • Take an Epsom Salt Bath or Scrub: This aids in grounding and integrating the shifts experienced during the session.
     

Reflection & Integration

  • Take Time to Reflect: Spend time contemplating the session. Write down what resonated, any thoughts or old memories that surface, and patterns or themes you recognize in your relationships. Be an observer of your experiences.
     
  • Spend Time in Nature: Nature is a powerful ally for recalibration. A walk in the park, sitting on a bench, or simply being outdoors can help you integrate the session’s insights effortlessly.
     
  • Honor Your Intuition: Information may continue to come intuitively after the session. Even a few minutes of quiet contemplation can provide clarity.
     

Sacredness of the Information
The information received during an Akashic Records session is sacred. While it may be tempting to immediately share epiphanies with family or friends, honor what feels right. Some insights are meant to be private and may require time to fully integrate.


Listening to the Recording
Revisiting the recording can offer additional layers of insight:


  • Soon After the Session: Listening within a few days allows you to reflect and take notes on areas that may have been overlooked.
     
  • Later Revisit: Some clients find value in waiting a few weeks or even months before revisiting the recording. Just ensure you’ve downloaded and saved it to your computer for future access.

Your intuition is your best guide. Follow what feels right for your unique process of integration and healing. Remember, the journey with the Akashic Records is a co-creative experience that unfolds in divine timing.
